These terms cover your use of https://decodeenergy.com.au and any guides you buy from us. By using the site or buying a guide, you agree to them.
What you’re buying
Our guides are digital products (PDF downloads). Each is a specific country edition, dated, with figures sourced from named authorities and current as of its stated edition. We provide free corrections to that edition — we do not promise lifetime updates.
Information, not advice
Our guides and free tool give general information to help you make decisions about your own home. Energy prices, rebates and rules change, and every home is different. The figures are honest estimates based on typical assumptions — they are not a personal financial, engineering or legal recommendation. Always get a quote and check current rates and eligibility before spending.
Payment, delivery and refunds
Purchases are processed by a third-party checkout provider acting as merchant of record. Guides are delivered as an instant download. Because they’re digital and delivered immediately, refunds are handled under the provider’s policy and applicable consumer law. If something’s wrong with your download, email hello@decodeenergy.com.au and we’ll sort it out.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the equivalent law in your country.
